ESA BIC Belgium supports startups using space technologies or space data to create new products and services.
The program is for early-stage companies with a clear space connection: satellite navigation, Earth observation, satellite communication, space technologies used in other industries, or new solutions for the space sector.
Selected startups receive:
€60,000 in equity-free funding
12 to 24 months of incubation
Business, technical and legal coaching
Access to the ESA BIC network
Access to BeCentral and the WeAreFounders community

In Belgium, ESA BIC startups join WeAreFounders, BeCentral's startup incubation program, for six months of their incubation. Through workshops, peer learning and networking events, they benefit from the best of both worlds: ESA BIC's expertise in space innovation and BeCentral's entrepreneurial ecosystem. Together, they give founders the support they need to turn innovative ideas into successful businesses.
Who can apply?
You can apply if your startup:
Is registered in Belgium, or in the process of registering
Is no more than 5 years old
Has a provable space connection
Has a viable business plan
What you will work on
Throughout the WeAreFounders program, startups progress through two tracks:

GROW: transform early traction into first customers and market validation
