Designed in 1912 by Victor Horta
Brussels Central Station was designed by Victor Horta in 1912 as a central hub between the city’s two main stations, meant to welcome both international visitors and local commuters.
Delayed by the world wars and completed after his death, it officially opened in 1952.
Since 2017, BeCentral has transformed part of the station into a tech campus, continuing its role of opening access and expanding horizons.
